Prior to that, Mr. Behrendt held numerous executive positions at IBM, including business responsibility for IBM's storage products, management of IBM's worldwide Electronic Typewriter business, and responsibility for the quality of most of IBM's products and business processes.
Mr. Behrendt also serves on the boards of Infocus Systems, Western Digital, and China-based SMT.
In addition, he is Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Boulder.
He frequently speaks on topics such as corporate management, culture, and governance.
He was honored as Colorado Business Person of the Year in 1992.
Mr. Behrendt received a degree in Engineering from UCLA.
