Peter Winter

Mr. Winter was founder and Editor of Canadian Biotech News a weekly newsletter that has been serving the industry for over 16 years.
Canadian Biotech News was acquired by Burrill & Company in 2005 and has been renamed the Burrill Canadian Biotech News and is published monthly.
Mr. Winter also edits the Burrill Biotechnology Industry Report Quarterly that charts the business and financial progress of the sector and several other newsletters published by the Burrill Media Group including the Burrill India Life Sciences Quarterly, the Burrill Greater China Life Sciences Quarterly and the Burrill Japan Life Sciences Quarterly.
Mr. Winter has provided strategic intelligence for governments and industry and developed communications strategies for start-up biotechnology companies.
Educated at the University of London UK receiving a BSc.
(Special Hons.), Mr. Winter worked in cancer research and the pharmaceutical industry before devoting his career to scientific communications and entrepreneurial activities.
