Richard O'Neill

Richard O'Neill joined Hobart as the Systems Manager in 2005 before becoming Head of Operations at the end of 2008.
He began with the objective of producing a state of the art straight through processing solution for the company to enable Hobart to offer an unrivalled service to its clients.
As Head of Operations he is responsible for overseeing IT, Middle/Back Office, Risk and all outsourced services and systems.
Recently Richard has been heavily involved with the development of ‘HALO’ and our automated in house reporting systems.
He began his career with Tullett Prebon broking Interest Derivatives before moving into IT as a consultant for Investmaster Group Limited in 1998.
He has worked closely with our CEO Colin Thomas for a number of years before joining him at Hobart in 2005.
