Dr. Richard P.
Tarvin is a Managing Director & Head of Risk at Close Asset Management Ltd.
He was a Co-Founder of Risk by Fortune Asset Management Ltd.
He served as an Executive Director of Research with a special focus on risk management.

Prior to joining Fortune, he undertook numerous project assignments for Bank of New York, Bank of & Mellon Bank.
He has an extensive background in quantitative and analytical skills as well as an excellent statistics and computer programming background.
He managed a hedge fund from 1994 to 1996.
Dr. Tarvin received a Bachelor of Science with first class honours in Neurophysiology at the University of New South Wales.
He subsequently received a Commonwealth Post Graduate Doctoral Scholarship to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Neurophysiology.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management in 1990.
He is an FSA registered representative.
