Richard Witherspoon

Mr. Witherspoon is CEO and Treasurer of the Hill District Federal Credit Union where he oversees the daily operation of the credit union and provides financial assistance and counseling to its members.
Mr. WItherspoon has been instrumental in the development of two community credit union in the Pittsburgh area which have been underserved by traditional financial service providers.
Mr. Witherspoon is a board member of the Hill District Federal Credit Union, Hill House Economic Development Corporation, Youth Enrichment Services, Inc., Neighborworks Western Pennsylvania, and Womanspace East, Inc. He also chairs the boards of Financial Education Consortium of Western PA sponsored by the Federal Reserve System, and Dollars and Sense Ministry of Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church which emphasizes financial literacy
