Robert Laidlaw

Mr. Robert Laidlaw is a Vice President at Acumen Capital Finance Partners Ltd.
He joined the firm in 1999 and gives a daily market and investment commentary on behalf of Acumen on Global TV.
As a result, he has become a trusted voice for Calgary investors and works in an investment sales team.
Mr. Laidlaw has been in the investment industry since 1983.
Before Acumen, he was a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager with a large, bank-owned investment firm, having founded and managed the growth of their Calgary Retail Operations.
He was also employed as a Founding Member by Canadian Association of Financial Planners.
Mr. Laidlaw earned a Business degree from Arizona State University in 1983.
He is one of the founding members of the Calgary Chapter of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners.
Along with his numerous other charitable contributions, Mr. Laidlaw has been a volunteer for the Calgary Stampede for the past 28 years.
He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of The Stampede for the past ten years and after his many years of voluntary service is an Honorary Life Director assisting the Calgary Stampede with special projects.
