Mr. Finch has an extensive research background and is experienced in both growth and value styles of investing.
He credits his ability to achieve consistent superior investment results by understanding company dynamics and anticipating changing valuation standards.
He has designed and taught a course on Internet investing and advised on web site design and development of institutional, as well as retail products.
Currently running his own consulting business, he is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Connecticut.
He has previously been associated with Aeltus Investment Management and Aetna Equity Investors as Head of Research and co-manager of the Aetna Value Fund and the Aetna Growth Fund.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a CFA grader.
He served as President of the Hartford Society of Security Analysts from 1988-1989 and Chairman of the Construction Analysts of New York in 1981.
Mr. Finch holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Economics from Rutgers University.
