From 2004 to 2007, he worked at Natixis Capital and was a Managing Director in the ABS Group specializing in the credit and special opportunities sector of the mortgage market.

From 1990 through 2000 at Kidder Peabody and its successor, Paine Webber, he focused on credit and distressed opportunities in the mortgage market.
From 1984 until 1990, he was a Senior Vice President and Manager of Drexel Burnhams Chicago Financial Institutions Group, specializing in credit and distressed opportunities in the mortgage market.
Mr. West holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA from Duke University.
