Mr. Roderick D.
MacPherson is an Investment Director at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Ltd.
He manages currencies on absolute return type funds and is a member of the Currency Alpha team.
Prior to this, he worked within the Global Strategy team for 10 years, where he had partial responsibility for asset allocation implementation and currencies.
Prior to joining SWIP, Mr. MacPherson worked for Scottish Widows, joining as a Trainee Actuary working in the actuarial and pensions area before joining the investment team in 1997.
Previously, he worked for Pilkington Optronics on research and development of optoelectronics.
Mr. MacPherson holds a First Class BSc in Physics from St Andrews University and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries.
