Ruo Gu Li

Li Ruogu has been Chairman and President of The Export-Import Bank of China since 2005.
He received an undergraduate degree from Beijing University in 1981 and an MA from Princeton University in 1983.
He was Assistant Governor and Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China from June 2000 to June 2005.

He was Director General for the International Department of the People's Bank of China from 1999 to 2000.
He was Executive Director for China, Chairman of the Budget Committee and a Member of the Inspection Committee of the Asian Development Bank from 1995 to 1999.
He was an Economist for the Asia and Pacific Department of the International Monetary Fund from 1990 to 1991.
He was Deputy Division Director, Division Director, Deputy Director General, Acting Director General and Director General for the Foreign Affairs Department of the International Financial Organization Department and the International Department of the People's Bank of China from 1985 to 1995.
He was Secretary General for the Chinese Government Delegation of the International Monetary Fund for China and the African Development Bank for China.
He was Temporary Alternate Governor of the International Monetary Fund for China, the African Development Bank for China and the African Development Bank for China Annual Meeting.
He was Assistant Professor of Beijing University from 1984 to 1985.
