Saied Simozar

Prior to joining Nuveen Asset Management in 2004, Dr. Simozar was the Managing Director of Global Interest Rate Strategies for BACAP where he was responsible for managing all non-U.S.
interest rate positions and emerging market investments.
Previously, he was a senior portfolio manager for Putnam Investments, where he designed and executed quantitative investment strategies as part of the firm's global fixed income business.
His earlier experience includes tenure as portfolio manager and manager of portfolio analytics with DuPont Capital Management.
In this role, he managed all sectors of the firm's fixed-income investments group and developed a framework for fixed-income management.
He has been a member of the investment community since 1989.
Dr. Simozar earned a Ph.D.
in materials science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Pahlavi University in Shiraz, Iran.
