Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) is a United Arab Emirates-based Sovereign Wealth Fund which was established in 1976 as the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. A wholly-owned agency of the Government of Abu Dhabi, the firm became the Abu Dhabi Investment Council in 2006 when President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued Law No. 16.
