Mr. Sloan Deerin is Senior Member at Compass Point Research & Trading LLC since 2012.
He will be focused on originating and executing the firms' investment banking opportunities with depository institutions.
With several years of financial industry experience in both the private and public sectors, Mr. Deerin joins the firm from the United States Department of the Treasury where he was the Director of Asset Management in the Office of Financial Stability.
While at the Department of the Treasury, he was responsible for the management of the Troubled Asset Relief Programs related investments, including the Capital Purchase Program, the Targeted Investment Program and the Asset Guarantee Program.
Mr. Deerin was previously employed as Senior Vice President by Friedman Billings Ramsey Group, Inc. He was a Equity Trader by Deutsche Bank Capital Corp., and a Principal by United States Senate Committee on Appropriations.
Mr. Deerin received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University.
