Steve is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Trive Capital.
He oversees firm operational matters and is responsible for managing the Trive Operations Team.
Steve began his tenure at Trive Capital as General Counsel before being promoted to COO in 2020.
He became Partner in 2023.
Prior to joining Trive Capital, Steve was General Counsel of Hosting.com (now Ntirety) in Denver, Colorado.
Prior to his role at Hosting, Steve practiced law with a large international law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, and corporate matters.
From 2014 to 2016, Steve was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he taught a course on private equity.
Steve received his J.D.
with honors from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A.
from the College of William & Mary.
