Kutscher is a Principal & Chief Compliance Officer at Kutscher Benner Barsness & Stevens, Inc. He is also a founder of the firm.
He is involved personally and substantially in the planning process for each of firm clients.
As a comprehensive financial planner and attorney, he draws from the various disciplines of investment, tax and law to meet the needs of each client.
Prior to forming the firm in 1991, Mr. Kutscher was an assistant vice president and senior trust officer with Seattle-First National Bank in its trust division (1986-1990).
From 1981 through 1985 he was with Lasher & Johnson in Seattle.
His professional memberships and associations include the Washington State Bar Association, the Seattle Estate Planning Council, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and International Board of Certified Financial Planners.
Mr. Kutscher received his secondary education at Phillips Exeter Academy (1974), a bachelors of arts in English from Dartmouth in 1978, a law degree from the University of Denver in 1981 (Law Review), a masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University in 1991, and earned his Certified Financial Planner certification in September 1990.
