Mr. Thomas E.
Kaplan is a Assistant Portfolio Manager at RK Capital Management LLC.
He joined RK Capital in November of 2020 and serves as a Assistant Portfolio Manager with a focus on the portfolio’s short book.
he has more than 30 year career spanning both the buy- and sell-sides, concentrating over 20 of those years on forensic accounting and investigative-based short-selling.
In 2014 Mr. Kaplan joined Sophos Capital Management, a Menlo Park, CA based hedge fund where he served as a Senior Analyst focusing on a concentrated, all-short strategy.
From 2011 to 2013 he acted as a Desk Analyst for Cantor Fitzgerald based in New York, NY.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1984 and a Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University in 1988.
