Tim Detloff

Mr. Timothy R.
Detloff, CFA MBA, is a Chief Investment Officer at Vestor Capital LLC.
He joined Vestor Capital in 2005.
He leads Vestor’s investment discipline, including designing investment strategies that meet the needs of clients.
He oversees the firm’s investment portfolios and is active in equity research and in managing mutual fund portfolio strategies.
Prior to joining Vestor, Mr. Detloff worked for Monetta Financial Services in Wheaton, II, where he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager/Analyst.
He has also worked at Amoco Corporation as Assistant Vice President and as a Financial/Operations Analyst for nearly ten years.
He has also worked for National Bank of Detroit, Allstate Insurance Company in Northbrook, Il, and Coleman, Epstein, Berlin & Company in Chicago.
He was previously employed as Director of Research by Vestor Capital Corp.
He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
He is a CPA and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
