Unathi Loos

Ms. Unathi Loos is a Deputy Head of SA Equity & Multi-Asset at Ninety One SA (Pty) Ltd.
As sector head of Resources she is responsible for driving the research agenda within this sector with specific research responsibilities for a number of large cap mining companies.
She joined the firm from Investec’s Private Bank division, where she was an internal and external consultant covering credit applications and loan agreements since 2008.
Prior to joining Ninety One, she was a business director at Amperzand Advertising and an organizational development consultant at resources for African Innovations.
Earlier in her career, she worked as an occupational therapist and also spent some time in a non-profit organization.
She has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
She graduated cum laude from the University of Cape Town with a Master of Business Administration degree.
She is also a CFA Charter holder.
