Acharya, CFA MBA, is a Portfolio Manager & Director at UBS Asset Management (UK) Ltd.
He joined the firm in October 2011 under the Global Bond Team based in London.
He contributes to the management of a range of global credit and global aggregate strategies and has over 13 years of investment industry experience.
Mr. Acharya previously worked at Western Asset Management from 2005 to 2011 and was an Analyst and Junior Portfolio Manager assisting in the running of a range of UK, European and global investment grade strategies utilizing cash and synthetic strategies.
Mr. Acharya received his BS degree from Washington University and his MBA from the Carnegie Mellon University (US).
He also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a CFA charter holder.
