RTS Stock Exchange OJSC is a stock exchange in Russia, which provides the organization and administration trading in securities, derivative instruments on securities and financial instruments. It secures conditions for and assisting market participants in execution of transactions in securities, derivative instruments on securities, technical support and maintenance of software and hardware used in the exchanges trading systems, rendering services for connectivity and cryptographic protection of information and develops trading rules applied in the trading systems of the exchange. RTS Stock Exchange also provides rendering services, intermediary, commodities exchange services. It develops, implements, distributes, services, technical maintenance, expertise and markets information systems and technologies, software, connectivity, other equipment and components. It engages in creation of information databases on securities market operation, standardized contracts and other instruments on its market participants and organizes and performs functions of an additional arbitrator for settling the legal disputes between market participants and between market participants and third parties. It prepares and publishes study guides, advertising leaflets, technical documents, scientific works, lectures and training of its activities. RTS Stock Exchange also provides clearing activities, communication services in the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the current legislation and regulations of the Russian Federation; exploitation of all kinds of electronic and digital means of information processing and other equipment including the one not on the central asset register of the Exchange, under agreements with the owners of such means of information processing; providing information and technology services including the issues related to performance of commercial, financial and managerial activities and other related activities on the securities market; interaction with Russian and foreign exchanges (organizers of trading) working in the securities market; rendering legal and information services to legal entities and individuals; rendering advertising services; organizing and running charity events, educational institutions, training and retraining of specialists, rendering educational services, educational works, which include organizing studies both in Russia and abroad, holding exhibitions, auctions and trading.
