Mr. Woody Jay is Head of US Treasury & Agency Debt Sales at CRT Capital Group LLC.
He joined CRT in 2009.
Prior to CRT, Woody was a founding partner and managing member of Rock Ridge Advisors, a multi-strategy hedge fund.
He was at Lehman Brothers from 1983 to 2005 where he started as a trader in the Government Bond Department, Headed that department beginning in 1992, and later Headed all Dollar Denominated Liquid Markets (which included all mortgage pass-through, government, agency and derivatives).
He began his career at the money market trading desk of J.P.
Morgan.
From 1996 to 2006, he served on the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC), where he held the posts of Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
Mr. Jay holds a BS from Cornell University.
