Yibo Nian

Yibo Nian is an Investment Director located in Shanghai, China.
He joined Intel Capital in 2017.
Yibo is primarily focused on silicon-related investments and has led various deals in silicon design and manufacturing.
He currently serves as an observer on the board of Spectrum Materials, Colltech, Capcon, Shenzhou Semi, and 99Cloud.
Before his investment role, Yibo was a Portfolio Manager for ICAP China and APAC, where he successfully drove multiple IPOs and private exits including Montage Technology, Supcon, and Verisilicon.
Before joining Intel, Yibo was a Sr. Staff Device Engineer at SanDisk Corp, leading non-volatile 3D memory technology development.
He holds BS in Physics from Shandong University, PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston, and MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and Columbia Business School.
