Yuri Naumov

Dr. Naumov is pioneer of the clinical immunology, immunogenetics and translational medicine.
Trained in a field of clinical immunology & hematology and transplantology, he underwent extensive clinical training in Dept.
Transplantation Tokai University in Japan.
His clinical and research expertise is focused on regulatory and functional cellular immunity to viral infections, oncological pathogens and pathogens associated with autoimmune diseases.
Working in BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and University of Massachusetts Medical School as faculty member, he has developed a unique application platform for identification, enumeration and tracing T-cell clones specific to human and animal viruses, bacteria and cancer antigens.
He and his collaborators have developed bioinformatics interface for data collection and analysis during the course of several multi-central studies of immune reactivity to influenza, EBV, HIV and diabetes.
He was the primary investigator of several NIH-sponsored grants, senior authors of more than 50 publications in leading journals and co-author of several book chapters.
His personal expertise and technical skills spans from artificial chromosome cloning, human cell culturing, flow cytometry, sequencing to biostatistics and bioinformatics.
Dr. Naumov is a key designer of SDM’s value proposition and infrastructure, utilizing front-end technologies to mass spectrometry and extending genomic clinical studies into proteomics and beyond.
