Zuosheng Yu

Zuosheng Yu was the founder of General Steel Holdings, Inc. (founded in 2002) and had served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2019.
He is currently the Chairman of General Steel (China) Co., Ltd.
and Beijing Wendlar Investment Management Group.
He is also the Chairman & President of Baotou Shengda Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., Sheng Da Industrial Park Real Estate Development Ltd., and Beijing Shou Lun Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.
Additionally, he holds the position of Chairman at Sheng Da Steel & Iron Mill, Tewoo General (Tianjin) International Trade Co., Ltd., and Director at Maoming Hengda Steel Co., Ltd.
He is a Member of China APEC Development Council, The Tianjin People's Political Consultative Conference, and Executive Vice President of China Chamber of Metallurgical Industry.
He is also the President of Association of U.S.
Listed Chinese Co., Inc. (since 2010).
In his former positions, he was the Chairman & President of Sheng Da Machinery Manufactory (1999-2001) and the General Manager of Sheng da Industrial Co. Ltd.
(1992-1999).
He holds an MBA from Tianjin University (1997) and completed his undergraduate studies at Jadavpur University.
He also holds an undergraduate degree from Tianjin University of Science & Technology (1985).
