Andreas Heß

Mr. Andreas Heß is a Managing Director at Landesbank Berlin Investment GmbH.
He has been a member of the senior management of Landesbank Berlin Investment GmbH ("LBB-INVEST") since 2009.
He is responsible for the Administration division, which comprises the Business Development, Accounting, Fund Controlling, Fund Administration, IT and INVESTkonto Administration departments.
He commenced his career with LBB-INVEST (Bankgesellschaft Berlin Investment GmbH until July 2006) in 1990 as a specialist adviser (Referent) on fundamental issues.
Only one year later, he took over as Head of the Business Development and Accounting department.
In 1992 he was granted general commercial power of attorney (Prokura); in 1993 he was appointed departmental director and granted general commercial power of attorney for BB-ASSET MANAGEMENT Vermögensverwaltung GmbH.
In 1998, he became Director of LBB-INVEST; since that time, he has also been responsible for the Fund Administration, Fund Controlling and IT divisions.
This was followed by his appointment as Senior General Manager of LBB-INVEST and the assumption of the role of deputy chairman of the board of directors of Europa INVEST S.A., an affiliated company of LBB-INVEST, which he headed as CEO from 2004 to 2006.
Following his vocational training as a qualified bank officer at Bank für Handel und Industrie AG in Berlin, he studied business administration at the Berlin Technical University.
