Mr. Andy Haas is a Managing Director at GoldenTree Asset Management LP.
He spent the past 24 years at Bear Stearns where he had a variety of responsibilities ranging from retail and institutional sales followed by a management role where he oversaw the Los Angeles Branch and held other management positions from 1989-1999.
In August 2000, Mr. Haas entered into a joint venture with Bear Stearns where he created and built a successful hedge fund of funds business that he managed until 2006.
Through this investment, Mr. Haas became an early investor in GoldenTree.
He began his career at E.F.Hutton and moved on to Oppenheimer before joining Bear in 1982.
