Angelique Kalam

Ms. Angelique Kalam is a Head of Sustainable Investment Practices at Futuregrowth Asset Management (Pty) Ltd.
In her current position as a member of the credit and equity investment team, she is responsible for overseeing the sustainable and responsible investment strategy at Futuregrowth.
This includes all aspects of responsible investment such as environmental, social & governance (ESG) integration and analysis of investments as well as overseeing the implementation of the development funds strategy.
Her diverse background and experience within the financial services industry ranges from marketing, business development, and investments.
This enables her to bring a unique combination of skill and attributes at a strategic and process level to the organization and within her role.
Prior to joining the investment team at Futuregrowth, she was Acting: Head of Business Development for 18 months.
She has a strong business development and marketing background and held various positions in this capacity.
Prior to joining Futuregrowth in 1999, she held a position in marketing at Southern Asset Management before the acquisition by Momentum.
Ms. Kalam has 20 years of work experience in financial services.
