Arun Maharaj

Mr. Arun Maharaj is Chief Investment Officer at BBY Advisory Services Pty Ltd.
and Chief Executive Officer at BBY Ltd.
He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for the BBY Group in February 2012.
Mr. Maharaj is responsible for the day to day management of all businesses and the general management of BBY teams across the network.
He has been with BBY since 2002 and was previously the Chief Financial Officer for the BBY Group.
Mr. Maharaj has considerable experience in management positions within the Funds Management and Stockbroking industry in New Zealand & Australia.
He began his career over 20 years ago with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Manager in Financial Services, based in Sydney.
He has also worked with BT Financial Group as their Group Reporting Manager.
Mr. Maharaj holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in New Zealand and is also a Master Stockbroker with the Stockbrokers Association of Australia.
