Mr. Whall joined Investec Asset Management in London, having previously worked at Newton Investment Management (BNY Mellon) for 12 years, where he led oil and gas research, responsible for stock selection, pricing models and a thematic framework for investment within the sector.
Prior to this, he worked for 19 years within the oil and gas industry, with Britoil, ARCO and BP where he covered a wide variety of roles including drilling, oil and gas reservoir development and project management.
Mr. Whall graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc with honours in Civil Engineering.
He also gained an MBA at the University of Surrey and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
