Chris Abely

Mr. Christopher Abely is a Chief Investment Officer at GSB Wealth Management LLC.
He joined GSB Wealth Management in January 2021 with the completion of the transaction between CTMA and GSB Wealth Management.
As Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for overseeing our investment process and leading our investment committee and investment professionals in the development of the macro investment themes.
He has 40 years of experience in nearly every facet of the financial advisory landscape; investments, banking, and insurance.
He has owned three, and founded two, financial services companies devoted to providing investment advice and financial services to individuals and corporations.
Prior to joining GSB Wealth Management, he was the founder and principal of CTMA Wealth Management.
He previously owned Members Services Corporation and founded Member Protection Plans which were acquired by The CUNA Mutual Group in 2000.
He remained with CUNA Mutual as a Senior Vice President until the founding of CTMA.
He is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a B.S.
in Finance and Economics.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
