Chris Slauer

Mr. Slauer received his Bachelor of Science degree, in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
In the mid 1980’s, he was a senior cost estimator and analyst working on commercial programs for LTV Aerospace and Defense, a large aircraft defense contractor.
While at LTV, Mr. Slauer gained extensive knowledge and experience in several manufacturing processes across various production lines.
In 1991, Mr. Slauer left the aircraft industry and became a securities broker for a small investment firm.
There he obtained his Series 22 and 63 securities licenses with the National Association of Securities Dealers.
In 1992, Mr. Slauer became Vice President of Sales for an investment firm and successfully participated in the funding of over 30 private placement offerings.
Throughout his career, Mr. Slauer has participated in the financing and/or investment management of over 50 portfolio companies.
In 1995, Mr. Slauer co-founded and served as Executive Vice President of a turnaround and workout firm focusing on mergers and acquisitions of undervalued privately held companies.
In this capacity, Mr. Slauer helped facilitate the funding of over $20 million in capital for four diversified private equity funds and served on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies.
In 2004, Mr. Slauer founded Markpoint Realty Group, a private real estate investment firm specializing in financing the development and/or redevelopment of credit anchored shopping centers, medical office condos, single-tenant and multi-tenant office buildings, residential subdivisions, luxury multi-family communities, and the acquisition of stable income-producing properties and strategic “path of progress” land purchases.
