David A. Hackworthy

Hackworthy is Founding Partner, Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager at Isthmus Partners LLC.
His primary responsibilities include managing the firm’s business functions, performing the duties of Chief Investment Officer, managing client portfolios and conducting equity research.
He co-chairs the firm’s Equity Investment Committee and is a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Committee.
He started his career in the financial services industry in 1985 as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager for a large regional trust department.
He joined HGMR Investment Management when it incepted in 1998 after previously managing the Appleton, Wisconsin, office of Baird Investment Management, which he joined in 1990.
He is a graduate of Iowa State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Finance.
