The eCorpSoft learning solution provides the bases necessary for linguistic acquisition. It is founded on the concept that mastering any language requires four skills: oral and written expression, the active skills, listening and written comprehension, the passive skills, since the active skills are directly rooted origins in the passive skills, it is necessary to have solid passive skills in order to develop the active skills. Traditional educational methods for the learning of languages privilege mastering written skills rather than oral expression. However, this approach goes against the natural process of acquisition of a language as a child. The child, however, has already acquired the bases of his mother tongue before learning how to read and write. The eCorpSoft learning solution adopts this natural approach by encouraging the development of oral comprehension in order to improve oral expression. A structured and repeated listening of specially chosen and adapted recordings makes it possible for the trainees to passively acquire language knowledge.
