Dennis Wayson

Dennis Wayson is a managing vice president in Gartner Dataquest, where he is responsible for the management of research services, including buyer and vendor research, forecasting, trend analysis, competitive analysis, client inquiry services, and IT services-related custom consulting assignments.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Wayson was president and founder of RDW Associates, a consulting consortium for the software and services industry.
Before that, Mr. Wayson managed research, sales and marketing, custom consulting and business development for Input’s U.S.
operations.
Prior to that, he was a senior vice president at Bank of America and chief information officer at Sun Company.
Mr. Wayson holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University and a master of science degree in operations research and computer science from Cornell University.
He also completed an executive M.B.A.
program at Columbia University.
