Prior to joining the Carlyle Group in 2003, he was a Senior Finance and Acquisitions Associate with Eastbanc, Inc., a Washington, DC-based real estate investment and development organization.
Prior to that, he was an intern and eventually an Acquisitions Associate with Starwood Urban Investments, a real estate investment and development affiliate of Starwood Capital Group.
Mr. Sheets received his B.B.A.
degree with dual concentrations in Accounting and Real Estate Finance from George Washington University.
