Mr. Swanepoel started his career working for Macquarie and Standard Bank on their Gold Hedging Joint Venture.
He then joined Lehman Brothers in New York where he developed their global derivative risk and trading environment.
Mr. Swanepoel left Lehman brothers for the opportunity to start up a boutique fixed income and financial services business, Decillion.
During this time he was involved in launching Big Rock, long short equity fund and more recently started and managed a Convertible Arbitrage Fund (DECAF).
Mr. Swanepoel studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Pretoria.
