Erik Johnson

Erik Johnson is a Senior Associate at Kinzie Capital Partners, where he is responsible for evaluating investments and supporting Kinzie portfolio companies, portfolio management and investment execution activities.
Erik has six years of experience in finance, operations and strategy in the consumer goods and retail industries.
Prior to joining Kinzie, he held a number of roles in finance and central strategy at The Kraft Heinz Company, most recently serving as Senior Finance Manager, where he was responsible for capital strategy, planning and execution for all U.S.
capital projects.
Prior to Kraft Heinz, Erik worked in corporate finance at Ulta Beauty in retail operations and e-commerce.
Erik received a B.S.
in Finance, magna cum laude, from Bradley University and earned his M.B.A.
from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with majors in finance, economics, management science and marketing.
He is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ Young Professionals Network.
A dedicated reader, Erik enjoys learning about history, science and the arts.
He is also an outdoor enthusiast and loves to mountain bike, ski, help on his family’s farm and take long walks with his wife.
