Fiona P. Sweeney

Ms. Fiona P.
Sweeney is Chief Executive Officer at Prescient Investment Managers (Ireland) Ltd.
She was previously employed as Head of Customer Business Ireland by AIB Investment Managers Ltd.
before being acquired by South African investment manager Prescient Investment Management in June 2012.
She has over 25 years’ experience in the investment management industry.
She joined AIB Investment Managers in September 2000 as Head of Pensions and was appointed Head of Customer Business Ireland (CBI) in January 2010.
In this role she had overall responsibility for AIBIM's relationship with its pension, charity and corporate/ institutional clients.
Prior to this Ms. Sweeney held the role of Director of New Business Development at Friends First Asset Management, after joining the firm in 1998.
She started out her career in investment management as a UK Equity Analyst at Royal London Asset Management and later at Bank of Ireland Asset Management (BIAM) before moving to the position of Senior Client Portfolio Manager at BIAM.
Ms. Sweeney holds a Masters Degree in Economics from University College Dublin (UCD).
