Frédéric Codet

Mr. Frédéric Codet is Senior Trader at Galena Asset Management Ltd.
He is to join Galena in June 2009 as a senior trader to co-manage the Energy Fund.
He has over 15 years of experience in capital markets, of which 12 years was spent in commodities.
He started his career at BNP in Sydney in technology and corporate investment bank in 1992.
Prior to joining Galena, he was Citigroup Managing Director and European Head of Oil, Oil Products, Agriculture and Exotic products trading.
In that capacity, he managed a team of 25 traders in Europe, Asia and North America.
In this role, he was actively trading and managing a global commodity book.
He also expanded Citigroup's presence in oil and metals markets.
He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from ENSIMAG (Grenoble, France) obtained in 1992.
