He was initially in risk management before moving to syndication, followed by a short stint as a generalist research associate, and then moved to Institutional Equity Sales 12 years ago.
He has held increasingly senior positions on the Global Sales desks of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for marketing global research to Canadian clients.
At Blackmont Capital and National Bank Financial, he focused on small and mid-cap stocks.
Mr. Lawrence earned his Bachelor in Business Management from Ryerson University and holds both Certified Management Accounting and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
