James T. Gourzis

James T.
Gourzis has been a Principal of MEDRAND Associates since 2002.
He served as a Director of Pro Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from December 2006 to February 12, 2009.
Previously, Dr. Gourzis was Senior Medical Director of PAREXEL International Corp.
from 1994 to 2002, Vice President of Medical Affairs for Gensia Sicor (Teva) Pharmaceuticals and Medical and Technical Research Associates, Inc. from 1991 to 1994, Chief Operating Officer of Hill Top Pharmatest, Inc. from 1986 to 1988, Administrative Director of Group Health Associates, Executive Director of Medical Research for Merrell-National Laboratories and Senior Director of Clinical Research for Schering Corp.
Dr. Gourzis was President of MEDRAND, Inc. from 1981 to 1991 and Vice President of Medical Affairs for Gensia Pharmaceutical, Inc. from 1988 to 1990.
He received an AB degree in Biology from Harvard University, an AM degree in Pharmacology from Boston University and an MD and a PhD degree in Pharmacology and Medicine from the University of Manitoba.
