Jason Schmidt

Jason Schmidt is Senior Vice President of Operations at Fulcrum Energy Capital Funds and oversees operations at Fulcrum Energy Operating, and responsible for development planning and execution, pursuing operational excellence at existing investments, and assisting in the evaluation of new investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Fulcrum, Jason served in various leadership roles across production, operations, completions, and reservoir engineering at Taprock Resources, Crestone Peak Resources, and Ovintiv (and predecessors).
Jason has over 20 years of experience operating both conventional and unconventional oil and gas wells across the United States and parts of Canada.
Jason grew up in Wyoming and holds a B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
