Mr. Carlson's career encompasses over two-decades of investment management experience, including leadership positions at Liberty Investment Management of Tampa, Florida, a multi-billion dollar institutional equity manager, where he was Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Investment Committee; and Eagle Asset Management of St. Petersburg, Florida, the predecessor of Liberty, where he was Senior Vice President.
Immediately prior to joining Biscayne Advisors, He worked with a boutique investment partnership based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
His career began in 1983 as an equity research analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mr. Carlson received his B.B.A.
in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1981 and his M.B.A.
in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1982.
He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has been a member of the CFA Institute and its predecessors since 1986.
