Previously, he served as the President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Filinvest Land, Inc. from 1997 to 2012.
He also held positions as the President & Chief Executive Officer at Filinvest Asia Corp., Filinvest BCDA Clark, Inc., and President at Filinvest REIT Corp.
Mr. Yap obtained an MBA from Harvard University in 1976 and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Ateneo de Manila.
He also completed graduate studies at the University of the Philippines and Harvard Business School.
