Juanita Escobar

Ms. Juanita Escobar is a Portfolio Manager of Internal Management Credit & Cash at IOOF Investment Services Ltd.
Ms. Escobar is responsible for portfolio management of the various cash and fixed income trusts at IOOF.
She has over 9 years of experience in capital markets specialising in multi asset management, funds management and asset allocation strategies.
Prior to joining IOOF, Ms. Escobar was a Portfolio Manager for Money Markets and Listed Equities and then became Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income, Hybrids, Currencies and Equity Derivatives and Overlays, at Medibank Private Limited for 3 years.
During this time she was responsible for designing, structuring, trading, reporting and managing the Fixed Income portfolio.
She provided in depth analysis for cash management and its optimisation with the aim of meeting the company's financial objectives and risk appetite.
Ms. Escobar has a Bachelor of Business Administration from El Rosario University (Colombia), a Master of Finance and Capital Markets from La Sabana University (Colombia) and a Master of Applied Finance from Melbourne University (Australia).
