Prior to joining Gates Capital, he was a Vice President in the Financial Entrepreneurs Group of the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney.
He received his BS in Finance and American Ethnic Studies from Kansas State University in 1996 and his JD from Harvard Law School in 1999.
