Mr. McAlley is primarily responsible for the dayto-day management of the Funds.
He has served as portfolio manager or co-manager of the Long-Term Tax-Exempt Fund since 1986 and of the Short-Term Tax-Exempt Securities, Intermediate-Term Tax-Exempt and New York Intermediate-Term Tax-Exempt Funds since 1995.
Mr. McAlley has been with U.S.
Trust since 1980.
