Mr Ioannou, a civil engineer and architect by training, is Chairman of J&P - AVAX SA and President of the Executive Board of J&P Group of Companies, a group of privately held international building and civil engineering companies with offices in Nicosia, Athens, London and the Middle East.
He is also the Chairman of the Athenaeum Hotel and Touristic Enterprises S.A., the holding company of the Athenaeum Inter-Continental in Athens.
Mr Ioannou actively serves on the councils of several not-for-profit organisations and museums worldwide.
