Ms. Waissar joined HRJ Capital in February 2007.
Previously she was an associate at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), specializing in the formation of venture capital funds.
Before joining WSGR, she practiced securities law at Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin in San Francisco, specializing in the formation and operation of private investment funds.
Prior to that, she started her law career at Seward & Kissel in New York, specializing in the formation and operation of mutual funds and hedge funds and the representation of investment advisers.
Ms. Waissar received her B.A.
from Columbia College, Columbia University and her J.D.
from Georgetown University Law Center.
She is a member of the California and New York state bars.
