Russell Investment Management LLC (RIM) is a SEC-registered mutual fund manager headquartered in Seattle, Washington. They are a holding firm of Russell Investments US Retail Holdco, Inc., ultimately owned by Russell Investments Group Ltd. The firm was founded in 1936 and was formerly known as Frank Russell Investment Co. RIM provides investment advisory services to affiliated pooled investment vehicles, pension and profit-sharing plans, government entities, insurance companies, foreign official institutions, financial intermediaries, and wrap-fee program clients of third-party financial intermediaries.

In 1915 Charles Edward Merrill founded Merrill Lynch & Co. (NYSE: MER) with Edmund C. Lynch in Baltimore, Maryland. The modern Merrill Lynch was formed in 1940 through mergers with E.A. Pierce & Cassatt and, soon after, Fenner & Beane. In 1973, Merrill Lynch adopted a holding company format, with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. as the parent and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith as the operating subsidiary. Merrill Lynch Asset Management, Inc. (MLAM) was created as an integral business unit in the Merrill Lynch family in 1976. Fund Asset Management, doing business as Mercury Asset Management, was acquired in December 1997. In 2000, MLAM and Mercury were combined under the name Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. MLAM manages the Merrill Lynch family of mutual funds, as and acts as sub-advisor to other mutual funds.

Founded in 1936, Frank Russell Co. is a registered investment advisor located in Seattle, Washington. The firm is a part of Russell Investment Group. They are wholly-owned by LSEG US Holdco, Inc, itself a wholly owned non-operating subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Group plc. Frank Russell Co.'s clients consist of pension and profit sharing plans, endowments, foundations, charitable organizations, corporations or other institutional investors. The firm also has contracts through Russell-related entities to manage the cash equitization activities of pooled investment vehicles Frank Russell Co. operates through sub-advisory agreements with the investment managers of these pooled investment vehicles.

Dana Investment Advisors, Inc. (Dana) is an independent, SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The firm was founded by Michael Dana in 1980. Dana provides investment supervisory services to qualified pension and profit-sharing plans, Taft Hartley plans, unions, financial institutions such as banks and credit unions, insurance companies, public sector entities such as cities and counties, health care facilities, corporations, charitable foundations and other charitable organizations, and certain high net -worth individuals. They also act as an investment manager for multiple wrap fee programs that are sponsored by third party institutions. Dana is a socially responsible investor and signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).
